Welcome to Apogee Lockhart's homeschool drop in day!
We’re excited to invite families to explore our one-day-a-week homeschool extension program—designed to enrich your child’s learning journey while connecting with a like-hearted community.
In addition to our drop-in day, families gain access to Frontier Fridays (a monthly off-site adventure) and seasonal gatherings that celebrate nature, creativity, and togetherness.

Involvement and Requirements
Our Homeschool Drop-In Day is a meaningful, guided experience—not a free-for-all. Students will be participating in group projects, engaging in collaborative learning, and are expected to contribute with intention.
Each session is project-based and flows with a cohesive rhythm, so families must register before the start of a new session. We do not offer mid-session enrollment to honor the integrity of group learning and shared momentum.
There will also be dedicated time for individual learning, where students are encouraged to bring their own materials—such as books, math work, art supplies, or personal research—to dive into their passions alongside peers.
This model supports both structure and flexibility, offering a community-centered extension to your homeschool journey.

Please note: We do not receive the full cost of this program. A majority of funds go directly to the incredible coaches and mentors supporting your child’s journey. A portion of the fee supports operations at our campus to continue serving families like yours.
A Day in the Life
While each day follows a familiar flow, no two days are ever quite the same. Our learning environment shifts with the seasons, ongoing projects, and the wisdom of guest mentors who join us to share their gifts.
Here’s a glimpse into our daily flow:
Morning Check-In & Movement
We begin each day by arriving fully—through connection, intention, and movement. This could be yoga, games, breathwork, or simply grounding in nature.
Journaling & Inner Reflection
A quiet time for goal-setting, mindful writing, or simply listening inward. This cultivates self-awareness and personal responsibility.
Individual Learning Time
Students work independently on what excites them most—whether that’s a math workbook, reading a novel, sketching a new idea, or diving into a personal research topic.
Snacks are available during this time as needed.
Lunch & Free Play
Time to nourish the body and enjoy connection—indoors or out.
Socratic Discussion or Debate
We gather in circle to explore meaningful questions, practice critical thinking, and engage in respectful dialogue around ideas that matter.
Project Collaboration & Creation
Students work together on shared hands-on projects aligned with the session theme—this could include building, crafting, performing, or problem-solving.
(This may be swapped with Socratic time depending on the day.)
Closing Circle, Clean-Up & Dismissal
We reflect on the day, tidy our shared space, and head home with a sense of accomplishment, belonging, and curiosity for what’s next.

This includes a family interview and a student questionnaire.

Once your family is accepted, you’ll receive everything you need to begin this transformative journey.
